2. Lice can jump or fly from person to person.

4. There are no products safe enough to use for pregnant or nursing mothers.
OR

6. Thoroughly cleaning the house is the best way to get rid of lice.
OR
Myth! Lice cannot survive long once they fall off of a person, so it is unnecessary to wash all the household linen or to vacuum, scrub or spray the house with household insecticide, which can even be dangerous if there is poor ventilation of the rooms. Pillowslips may be soiled with lice debris such as droppings and molted lice skins, so they should be washed on the first day of treatment.
7. Anyone can get head lice.
OR
Fact! Although head lice are most common amongst school-aged children, anyone can get head lice.
8. My child should stay home from school if they are infected with head lice.
OR
Myth! The American Academy of Pediatrics and Wild Child believe that no healthy child should be excluded from school or allowed to miss school because of head lice and discourage "no nit" policies in school. Wild Child's Quit Nits treatment cream kills 100 percent of lice and nits after the suggested overnight use, allowing children to go back to school after the treatment.
